We felt lucky to spend three nights in this luxe retreat after a week amid the bustle of the Bequia seafront. Our lower room was spacious, especially with the shaded patio where we lounged for hours and took in the views. The natural Eastern Caribbean materials, lovely bedding, and comforts made it feel like an island hideaway. The hilltop estate looks out over palms and an incredible blue sea. Every staff encounter was a pleasure. Ezra made the golf course and fruit tree grove tour fun and engaging, and included a sugar cane demonstration. Housekeeping was fast, thoughtful to us and the environment, and left charming fresh flowers throughout the suite. The food was faultless at every meal we had. I’ll keep thinking about those three breakfasts, with fresh fruit grown on the property, and the coconut chicken curry. There’s an informative estate tour available too, which I can recommend. The short, easy walk to Spring Beach was lovely, though I wish we’d arranged a picnic. Next time. The pool was just right for lazy afternoons, with the festive bar and tempting lunches only a short walk away. Firefly Bequia is a lovely hidden gem.

Even with the problems, I’d still recommend this beautiful island spot for dinner. The food was delicious, though service dragged at times and our drinks sat empty for long stretches. I think there was only one person working in the restaurant that night. I’d emailed ahead to reserve and arranged a special birthday cake. When we arrived, they had neither the reservation nor the cake, which was a surprise I’d been looking forward to.

Eddie was the BEST, and the staff were really attentive. We loved the secluded location, and our room was clean, comfortable, and very nice. The only downside was having no TV. Usually I wouldn't mind, but the weather kept us stuck in the room.

Really enjoyed the visit. Ezra was a super knowledgeable, friendly guide, and the tour was a highlight. Lunch and drinks were pretty good too, and the staff were warm. Definitely worth a trip.

This is only about the golf. The clubs are awful, with rust, missing shafts, and bits of metal sticking out. The balls are a mix of throwaways, but usable, and there aren't any tees. You can hit a ball in what used to be a goat pasture, with dry rough and mud, but this isn't really golf. The farthest flag was maybe 90 yards, and shots go through palm trees. A 9 iron is enough for the whole course. Don't come here for golf. A pickleball court might get more use.
