Hotel Ole Caribe

Ole Caribe is a warm, family-friendly hotel on Venezuela's coastline. The food and service are excellent, and they have packages with different options for couples and families. If you're visiting the beaches in Vargas State near Caracas, it's a place to check out.

Ask for a sea view room. The rooms feel dated for a five-star hotel, but they're quiet and very clean, with extremely comfortable beds and plenty of pillows. The staff are some of the best I've come across, always helpful and ready to handle requests. The lobby is spacious and comfortable, and the bellhop is alert and helps with the car and luggage. The location and view are nice, though driving in can be tricky because the entrance is on a very steep slope, which also makes walking up tedious. Food is top notch. The pool shuts at 7 pm. The facilities could use some cosmetic upkeep, though everything works. There's a tennis and squash court, business center, gym, and spa where you can get a massage. A nice hotel all around.

I had a great micro vacation here. The pool was just the right size, and the lobby and other facilities were fine. Everything was okay. The restaurant is a bit expensive, but the quality is good. I recommend it.

The room was nice and clean, with a good view of the Carribean sea. Wi-Fi is available in the lobby and rooms, but it keeps coming and going. They have a gym and sauna, though I couldn't tell if the sauna was working. They offered a welcome drink, but, as usual, there was no breakfast. I think most hotels around here don't offer it. The reception employee spoke only Spanish, no English, and I had a problem with the reception manager. She was not friendly at all, and I told her I wouldn't come back because of her attitude. I won't stay here again.
