Hotel LD Palm Beach

The room beds were excellent, the views were great, and you get free Cokes. In at least two of the three rooms I stayed in, though, the AC temperature couldn't be adjusted. 4/5 The food choices were there, but some things tasted mild. The pasta had little to no flavor, while the pork was great and the chicken was okay. I'm a picky eater, and the hamburger was really tasty. You can take any food back to your room. The drinks and service were amazing, even when a few dishes didn't work for me. 4.7/5 The beach has lovely views and free drinks from LD Plus, but the tide is strong. Necklace and accessory sellers can be annoying, and the massage sellers were extremely pushy when I looked like I had money. Keep an eye out for them. 4/5 The pool and bar area felt family friendly, with lots of food and drinks and awesome customer service. Ask for the pinha colada! 4.7/5 The internet isn't fiber, but the connection ranged from 5 to 40 Mbps depending on the time and Wi-Fi strength. Fine for downloads or streaming, not recommended for online gaming. 3.5/5 The game room and gym seemed neglected. There was a broken window, missing weight discs and ping pong balls, very few games, and just one inclined bench press. There's a small jogging circuit on the roof, but I wouldn't recommend it, which is why you don't see pictures. You can definitely work out, though. 2.5/5

The guides were well informed, the scenery was beautiful, and the service and customer care were perfect. The hotel is always clean, the food is excellent, and the drinks are nice, if not too strong. We had a great experience despite a few room issues, including no hot shower and limited glassware.

The pool was just right for relaxing, and the staff were professional and helpful. It's a great family vacation spot with clean rooms. Some days there was no running water, which made the stay uncomfortable, and the buffet was all right but could have been better.

The all-inclusive deal is well worth the price, with standard buffet meals and overnight snacks and sandwiches. Staff were very helpful, and there was entertainment each night. The pool is open from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m., the poolside bar from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., and the nightclub from 11 p.m. until 3 a.m. Have fun, recommended.
