The building is beautiful and has comfortable areas, and my stay was pleasant. The bedroom was nice, though there was no balcony or nearby area for smokers. Getting ready was inconvenient because the hair dryer was broken and there were no shower caps, making it hard to avoid getting cold. The water could have been a little warmer.

If you're in Maracibo for work, this is a great hotel. The breakfast is easily the best part.

Some people said it looked old, but I thought it had a classy look. I stayed in a standard room, and to me the style was just kind of low-light. The room was really nice, and the gym was awesome. The pool was incredible, with a bar serving food off to the side. One heads-up: it was hard to find an employee who spoke English. I don't hold that against anyone.

It's the most beautiful hotel I've been to in Maracaibo, and the breakfast is great too. My only complaint is the TVs aren't smart, and the internet setup wouldn't let my Chromecast connect to the Wi-Fi, so I ended up watching what I wanted on my phone.

For the price, it's reasonable. The hotel has a good restaurant, a gym, air conditioning, cable, full and fast Wi-Fi, ample parking, 24/7 security, and a backup power generator. The location in Maracaibo is excellent, and the hospitality and friendly staff are wonderful. I'd call it a four-star hotel.
