I stayed in room 1512. The pool was cold, breakfast was barely there, and the rooms aren't good. $85 is way too much for that.

Check-in went really well, but the room was a shock. It wasn't fully clean, as the pictures show: the fridge was dirty, there were stains on the pillow, and the floor hadn't been swept. There was no soap or shampoo, and the TV picture was unclear.

The rooms are perfectly fine and have the things you'd expect a hotel to provide, which is already a lot to ask in Venezuela. Even the bathroom stood out: it had toilet paper, soap, and running water. I've seen bathrooms with two of those, or just one, but this was the first with all three. The restaurant isn't great, though in the circumstances it's more than you'd expect. If you need a hotel in Puerto la Cruz, this is the best one.

The pool music is so loud you can hear it in your room. The beds are old and uncomfortable, and the building needs work. Food is very bad and expensive, and the service is bad too.

The pool is great and the room was average. Like another guest said, don't bother with the restaurant: the prices are through the roof and the quality and service are poor.
