Fort Recovery Beachfront Villa & Suites Hotel

At sunset, you can relax with lovely ocean views and the quiet sound of waves washing up on the property's beach. It's an ideal place for a getaway. The rooms are comfortable and outfitted with most things, and daily housekeeping adds a personal touch. Owner Justin is friendly and easy to talk to, and dog Sasha is a treat.

We stayed two nights in Feb. 2024, and the rooms were spacious and clean. Justin and the staff were impressively accommodating. They even brought extra towels to the pool for our kids without us asking. There’s a clean pool with plenty of shade just steps away if you’ve had enough of the ocean. By the waves, there are swings and shaded lawn chairs, with a great view and atmosphere. Knowing the damage the buildings took in the 2017 hurricane made how immaculate the buildings and landscaping look, inside and out, all the more impressive. This is a good value compared with other rentals, and well worth the price. For Recovery is around a 15-minute drive from Road Town, with large, comfortable beachfront villas away from the crowds. Our ground-floor unit opened right onto the beach. The property is well maintained, the staff are friendly, and the views from the room are gorgeous.

The rooms are huge, bright, and cheerful, with nice kitchens and bathrooms. There’s a private beach, a pretty pool, and a swing, plus a spectacular view. I also loved the historic part. Owners are friendly, and groceries and restaurants are only a short taxi ride away.
