I usually stock up on water and breakfast and lunch supplies at the supermarket, since I like to spend my days at the house, swimming at the beach and pool or reading and lounging around. Then I'll head out for dinner at one of the island's nice restaurants, with lovely views and good drinks. Tortola is quiet and relaxing, and ferries make day trips to nearby islands like Virgin Gorda easy. I've stayed at The Refuge several times and have never been disappointed. The house and view are even more magical than the pictures, and you're just steps from the beach via a short path. It feels almost private, since I see very few people there. The tucked-away home isn't disturbed by neighbors and works well for a family or a few couples or friends. You'll love it at the Refuge!
