Mango Bay Resort

We were sad to leave after five days. It felt like we had the place to ourselves, with only two other families seen at the pool and hardly anyone at the beach. Kayaks and paddleboards were available, and everyone working there, from housekeeping to maintenance, was so nice. We loved our stay and would highly recommend it. Our only real wish was for a bar or restaurant on site so we wouldn’t have to leave.

The suite kitchen and the great value are what will bring us back to Mango Bay. We’ve been to Virgin Gorda three times now, including previous stays at Mango Bay and Little Dix, a Rosewood property. It’s a quiet beach with no crowds, and the place is low-key and unpretentious.

We booked an ocean view suite at Mango Bay Resort and were pleasantly surprised by both the view and the room. Kaia, the manager, communicated clearly and was happy to recommend places around Virgin Gorda. We also tried the resort’s new restaurant and loved the range of dishes and local flavors.

Privacy and peace are a big part of what makes Mango Bay Resort special. It feels like a hidden gem, yet still has a five-star feel. I’ve stayed at many Caribbean hotels and resorts, and this is the best hotel experience I’ve had. It’s already earned a permanent place on my list, and I’ve decided I’ll be back. Whether you’re on your own, traveling as a couple, or with family, it’s a wonderful place for a relaxing island stay. The rooms were immaculate, modern, and well equipped. The layout and linens felt thoughtfully chosen, the bed was the best I’ve slept in at any island hotel, and the kitchen was better stocked than most apartments. Outside, the views were unreal, with clear water, lush greenery, and soft white sand just steps from my suite. Mary Beth greeted me when I arrived and gave me a warm, thoughtful tour of the property. Her genuine, heartfelt welcome set the tone for the whole stay and made me feel at home. The service was exceptional throughout. For me, Mango Bay is the best resort in the British Virgin Islands, and the best vacation I can remember. Best hotel, best resort, best vacation. Mango Bay is the BEST.
