The courtyard is charming, especially with the weekly live music, and everything from restaurants and bars to taxis is an easy walk. Tamarind also has coolers, beach towels, and chairs to borrow, handy if you're traveling light. The staff are welcoming and accommodating, and the rooms have been clean and well stocked both times my husband and I stayed. We've enjoyed breakfast, afternoon apps, and dinner there, every bite, with the complimentary rum punch. We got married on the island in March 2026 and recommended Tamarind to some of our guests. They had a great experience too. For the price, convenience, and quality, it's a no-brainer. Can't wait to return!

A charming, simple place, with wonderful service. The free breakfast is basic, just bread, a small serving of fresh fruit, and coffee, but it does the job. You can borrow beach chairs and snorkel gear from the shed. The room has great AC and a ceiling fan, and the bathroom is clean and modern. There's free parking out back, and everything in Cruz Bay is within walking distance. I'd stay again.

The newly refurbished rooms were comfortable and modern, and we loved having steady hot water in the shower. My wife and I really enjoy staying at The Inn at Tamarind Court. The complimentary continental breakfast was excellent, and Cruz Bay's restaurants, bars, and shops are only a short walk away. We highly recommend it.

We'd definitely recommend it and come back. The rooms were clean, the service kind and friendly, and parking was easy to access. Restaurants downtown and Mongoose junction were only a quick walk away. Guests get a free continental plate with fruit and sweet bread or toast, plus coffee and orange juice. Beach chairs and snorkels are in the shed by the restaurant, and you can borrow noodles for floating too.

We loved how cozy Tamarind felt, with the bar, restaurant, and rooms close together. We had breakfast there a couple mornings and enjoyed it, and the rates were a big factor too. It's convenient to everything. We've been coming to St. John since 1998 and usually rent a Jeep, but we didn't need one this time and saved money. Stephanie and Michele were very accommodating with a couple of special requests.
