Hotel Ngọc Cường

My wife and I rented a room by the hour. The deal was 150,000 VND for under two hours, or 200,000 VND if we stayed longer. We checked in at 6:44 p.m. and left at 8:15 p.m., but at checkout they claimed we had arrived around 5 p.m. and charged the 200,000 rate. They even asked, in a challenging tone, “Do you have any objections?” The rooms are small, the prices high, and the service chaotic. I felt they were ripping off customers. For reference, this was Room 2 on April 12, 2026. We checked in around 6:40-6:45 p.m. and checked out around 8:15 p.m.

The room is small and plain, but it was enough for an overnight stay. It costs 250, which is cheap, and they provide invoices. The place is opposite the bus station, handy for business travelers needing somewhere for a short stay. The owner is fairly friendly. He opens at 4:30 a.m.; if you need to leave, just ring the doorbell since he lives downstairs.

I had booked nearly a month ahead, but when I got there the owner said there was no room and no reservation under my name. Showing the booking.com confirmation didn't help. They said the site wasn't theirs, even though the address and phone number matched. Since it was the weekend, finding somewhere else was really difficult. I'd suggest thinking twice before booking here, so you don't end up in the same situation.

It was quiet, and the rooms were fairly clean and airy for the price. They have Wi-Fi and parking, and can provide electronic invoices. The service quality was good.
