Father House gives you a comfortable spot to relax and your own private space to do what you like. It seems ideal for some healing time with friends or family. (^.^)

The hosts are a Vietnamese family, and they welcomed us as if we were part of their own. There are plenty of places to eat nearby, and the homestay is close to the town center. Bao Loc makes a good two-night stop between saigon and da lat, in either direction, if you want to explore a less touristy area with plenty to offer. I’d especially recommend it if you like a cosy little bungalow in a lovely garden, surrounded by organic herbs and vegetables you can taste.

One thing that could be better is insect screens, since bugs can get in easily. Still, I chose a rural homestay for a countryside-style trip, so I’m not going to complain. We really enjoyed our time here. The garden is full of succulents, native flowers and vegetables, and you can see the owner’s care in every corner. It’s pretty kid-friendly too, with a little playhouse in the middle. The hosts brought us fruit and home produce each morning, which was lovely, and were happy to share local spots for good food and nice views.
