Anya Hotel Quy Nhon

The bed was very comfortable, and most of the staff were welcoming and kind. Still, for the price and its 4-star positioning, this was a bad experience. We had better stays at some 1- and 2-star hotels. The restaurant was being renovated, which caused loud noise in the lobby at times. A sign by the elevators mentioned the work, but it began around 7AM, earlier than the stated 08:30. Construction in the adjacent building also started at 7AM sharp. That work wasn't the hotel's fault, but placing us in a room right beside it, where the noise was very loud, was hard to understand. The hotel said no other rooms were available, yet changed us almost immediately after we asked in the morning, so it seems quieter rooms may have been available in this large hotel. Staff kindly offered a complimentary fruit platter, but we felt something more appropriate would have been free breakfast, especially since we'd booked without it. Staff first quoted 150k VND per person for breakfast, then charged 190k when we arrived. There was a wide range of Vietnamese dishes, but the limited Western options weren't very good. Both rooms needed cosmetic attention and repairs, and both had mold on the shower curtains, which we thought were an unnecessary design flaw. I attached photos of the second room, which we moved to for less noise; the first room had similar maintenance issues. Staff said maintenance would look into it, but we just wanted to relax and enjoy Quy Nhon instead of dealing with the room throughout our stay. At check-in, they asked to inspect our e-visa forms. No one else had asked for them during more than a month in Vietnam, and our passports already had the immigration officer's stamp. They gave no reason for needing the forms. Check-out was slow too. We were asked to wait five minutes while staff checked the rooms, presumably to see whether we'd used anything from the minibar. Almost ten minutes later, they asked us to wait longer. We had a train to catch, so we thanked them and left. The process felt odd. Checkout should be easy, and they could simply ask about minibar use as other hotels usually do.

Breakfast was delicious, with a nice range of choices and a relaxing ocean view. The staff, from reception and housekeeping to the restaurant team, were attentive, friendly, and professional. My room was spacious, clean, and well equipped, and the location made getting around easy, right by the beach. I really enjoyed my stay at Anya Beach Hotel and would recommend it to friends. I'll definitely return.

Anya Beach Hotel is a great-value spot for a beach break, just a few steps from the shore. I especially liked the rooftop bar and swimming pool. The rooms were spotless and thoughtfully designed, and the location and service were fantastic. I'll definitely come back next time.

The staff made sure our stay was comfortable and suited us, and they were careful and supportive throughout. Ms. My Thu was especially lovely and helpful. Great breakfast, pool, gym, and more. I had a wonderful stay.
