Hotel Hoa Nang

I was on the top floor, and a large Vietnamese group was drinking and making a lot of noise on the roof near my room at night. I asked the administration to deal with it, but they offered me another room instead of stopping the party. They say the rooms are soundproof, yet I could hear everyone inside the hotel from my room.

The hill view from my room was worth every penny, and the garden is a hidden gem. The room was lovely and the bed comfortable. I’ve stayed twice and enjoyed both visits. It felt like a great deal at only 490,000vnd per night. The staff were friendly and helpful, especially Ms.Hoang, who was professional from our first contact with the hotel. I’d highly recommend it and would come back.

The rooftop deck, reached by a spiral staircase, has 360 degree views and is the standout feature. There’s also a lovely garden at the back. My top floor corner room had huge picture windows looking out at the mountains, and there was plenty of space. The hotel feels like a mini palace, grand and regal. The bathroom had only hand soap, while I appreciated having noodles, potato crisps, sweets and cold drinks to buy from the mini bar. The mattress was typically firm, even hard. Staff were friendly, and some spoke enough English to get by. JaDoo coffee and tea being just a five minute walk away was a pleasant surprise.

There’s a nice garden behind the hotel, kept in good condition and style, and the staff were welcoming and helpful. The rooms aren’t very spacious, though they’re well-equipped, and I found the hot and cold bath water a little hard to control. The hotel sits peacefully away from the center, but it’s still within a 10-minute walk. A good fit if you like quiet but still want to be close to the beat 😁
