Nhu Ngoc Motel

Really nice place 👌👌👌

I came from Nam Dinh to Ca Mau and paid about 250,000 VND a night at Nhu Ngoc Motel. The location was handy, with lots of good places to eat just a few dozen meters away, and there’s parking for motorbikes. At night, the staircase lights turn on when someone moves, which is a modern and useful touch. The reception area was dark, though, and there wasn’t much natural light. My first room’s bathroom smelled of sewage, so reception moved me. After I got back from sightseeing, I turned on the air conditioner in the next room and it was noisy, like an old fan. It looked old and very dirty, as if it hadn’t been cleaned in a long time. I was moved again to room 3. Its bathroom still had a slight smell, but it was better. The bed felt a little wobbly, and the facilities seemed run-down. Since it was already late, I stayed the rest of the night. The location near restaurants is good, but at 250,000 VND a night the rooms and equipment need better cleaning and maintenance.

It had what I needed for an overnight stay, with a clean, modern room, hot water, and fresh flowers. Shower gel, shampoo, and the other basics were provided. The shower spray was about 8/10. The price is affordable for backpackers.

The owner and staff are enthusiastic and helpful with guests. The hotel also has comfortable amenities.
