The garden is gorgeous, the staff are so friendly, and the food we had was delicious. They handled vegan meals better than even our hotel in Saigon. We really enjoyed our one night here, though it’s definitely rustic, and we felt close to nature. It’s a charming escape for a short stay if you’re used to city life, but don’t come expecting luxury. There’s very little privacy since the rooms are open air, and you can see into other guests’ rooms. We were lucky to be the only guests there. There’s an AC unit, but the open windows make it less effective. When we visited in October, though, the weather was pleasant. The bathroom is outside, with plenty of critters around. Even on this isolated island, the neighbors were singing karaoke all day, which caught us by surprise. I’m mentioning all this so you know what to expect, not to put you off. We enjoyed our stay overall.

We had a delicious lunch with lots of different dishes, and the owners were so friendly. They lent us bicycles for a ride around the area. The setting is beautiful, quiet and peaceful!

This place is well worth a visit. The staff were fantastic, everything was very clean, and the food was tasty. There are wonderful day trips, and getting here by Grab was easy. Hue, the lady in charge, will help with anything you need. Don’t miss it!

We'd just had a beautiful bike ride around the island when we stopped here for the warm hospitality and delicious food. There was much more food than two people could manage, but we had a lovely time and will head home with big smiles and great memories.

We stayed at Mekong Ecolodge for two nights and had a great time. It’s a peaceful, romantic place to relax, enjoy tropical fruit and get a feel for local life while exploring the area. We joined bicycle tours around the island, stopping at local homes and taking a traditional cooking class. We also cycled around Cai Be, visited the ancient house and went to the floating market.
