Green Sunshine Homestay

I only spent one night here, but I’d highly recommend the homestay. The hosts were so welcoming and kind, and took time to share useful tips on restaurants, excursions, and bus transport. I also joined their tour of the floating market, noodle production, and local fruits. It was a full experience and really well organised. Ken was a lovely, passionate guide.

The owner was really lovely and helpful. After we’d moved on, we realised I’d left a pair of shorts behind with the laundry. She sent them along with a guest who happened to be heading to our area. We also had a private room with mosquito nets, and got some washing done. It’s a quiet place, but Grab bikes are easy to access for trips out. By the pond, we watched catfish and other fish, and there were four or five gorgeous cats around, including one especially friendly one. Super cute. Would definitely recommend this homestay!

Jess made the place feel like home, and even offered me a floating market trip at a very good price. She helped arrange my bus back to Ho Chi Minh for an excellent price too, with pickup included. The garden patio was nice, and my room was large with a comfortable bed. I slept for 13 hours and finally felt rested after my previous trips. This has been my best hostel experience in Vietnam so far. Jess is a great, friendly host, and I really recommend staying here.

We loved the floating markets and how easy it was to arrange trips at a really good price. Our two nights with Jess were the best, with a clean, lovely home and good facilities. She took time to explain what Can Tho has to offer tourists and recommend where we should go next. It felt like a really authentic experience, and we enjoyed it a lot.
