We paid 250K, and you can also find it on booking.com. It’s a clean, pleasant basic hotel, and the owner is very nice. The room has a fan and air conditioner, toiletries are provided, and you can buy drinks at reception. A kettle is available if you ask.

Whenever I’m in Lang Son, I stay at Nhat Son hotel. The owners are super friendly, the rooms are a great price, and the location works well.

For 250k a night, it’s a cheap hotel, so keep expectations modest. The AC cooled the room but never made it cold. The walls were typically dirty and there were spider webs, though the bed was clean and comfortable, 7/10. A solid three stars, fine for Asia.

We had a nice time and stayed about five days. Hiền and her family took great care of us, including helping when we had a medical issue. Her English is quite good, and her mother cooked several meals for us. Their hospitality was superb. I’d highly recommend staying here if you’re in the area.

The lady welcomed us warmly even though we arrived quite late. We stayed here during our trip through northern Vietnam. It’s a very simple place, but for the price it had enough for one night.
