Seventeen Vũng Tàu Hotel

The staff were quick, professional, and enthusiastic whenever guests needed something. The rooms felt airy and were clean, and the interior brings comfort together with a really attractive design.

The hotel's in a small street, with no sea or scenic views, though it's fairly close to the center and makes getting to the beach and other attractions easy. My first room was acceptable but didn't have an air conditioner remote, so I was moved to a better one. The room was fine for the price. The shared areas were another story: the lobby, rooftop, pool, walkways, and stairs were dusty, dirty, and messy, with few amenities and nobody cleaning the paths or stairs. The place looked nothing like the photos on booking apps or the hotel's listings.

The pool was the reason I chose this hotel, so finding it empty and algae covered was a real disappointment. It looked like a dry construction pit and had apparently been unused for almost two months, with no notice for guests. The room was okay, the staff were enthusiastic, and the location was convenient. Everything else was fine, but this experience left me giving it one star. If they're not using the pool anymore, they should remove it or clearly tell guests.

I liked the spacious family room and the bunk bed, which suited two couples and two kids, one boy and one girl. The kids mostly liked the bunk bed, too. But the room was dirty, the toilet was old, the shower faucet was broken, and the grab pillows were old. The hotel is down a small alley. Even though I booked ahead on the app, they gave me the wrong room at first, and I had to move between rooms. The price felt too high for the area and service. For the same money, I could have booked a much nicer hotel closer to the beach.
