The host is the real highlight here. He was warm and welcoming from the start, treated us more like friends than guests, and was always happy to chat over coffee or help with tours, food suggestions, and tips about hidden spots around the island. That kind of genuine kindness is rare. And the coffee is incredible. It felt like an experience in itself, easily the best we had in Vietnam, with every cup made carefully and with real attention to flavor. The smoothies were fresh and delicious too, worth stopping in for on their own. Our room was spacious, bright, and spotless, with AC that worked well and a really comfortable bed. Prices were very affordable for the level of comfort and service, and the location was great. If you're passing through Cát Bà Island, this is the place to stay. Even just for a smoothie, though you may find you don't want to leave. 💛

Linh makes the best coffee in Vietnam. He roasts his own beans, grinds them to the right grade, and the crema is just perfect. Go treat yourself to a Linh coffee at the ground floor cafe. My daughter also says thanks to your wife for lending us the tape measure. Pete
