The service was friendly, and the underground parking was handy. Our small room was comfortable, though it felt a bit too small. Since it was on the first level, we could hear everything happening at reception, so it got a little noisy during the day.

The receptionists weren’t helpful or supportive at all. On check-in day, the room I’d reserved had dust and hairs on the bedsheet, and the toilet drainage was so poor that water ran very slowly and spread across the floor. Both the rooms and the rest of the hotel feel run down, with no renovation. A very unpleasant stay. Future guests should think carefully before booking.

We arrived at Peace Backpackers in Da Lat at 9pm, only to learn they’d double-booked our room and had no replacement. They arranged Ami Boutique Hotel and confirmed there was a room, so we walked there through heavy traffic. But when we got there at 10pm, that room had been given away too. We ended up in a basement room in the car park, with moldy walls and a hard sponge mattress. It’s about keeping a commitment, not just money. I’ve never seen such disregard for guests. Call every 30 minutes to remind them you’re coming, or you may be disappointed.
