BomBo Dalat Hotel

There was a lot to like: the room was affordable and large, with a terrace and refreshing city view in room 305. The staff were very friendly, and breakfast was included in the room price. I left a note about my birthday trip and they brought me a small cake. With no major roads nearby, I could barely hear motorbikes or car horns and rested comfortably even during the day. The night market was about a 5-10 minute walk away. The uphill approach could be a drawback for anyone with limited strength or traveling with adults or children. Inside, the high ceiling made the room feel cold in December, oddly colder than outside, and there was no heating. If you get cold easily, bring an electric mat; I used one and it helped. I was told this was a new hotel, but the facilities and interior didn’t look new. The staff spoke English, though not very well, so communication could be difficult. Breakfast was free but had limited choices: rice noodles, two or three kinds of bread, an egg dish, some fruit, coffee, and local side dishes. The room had no soundproofing at all. Most frustratingly, when I tried to shower at 11pm, the hot water had cut off and it was hard to shower.

We left after just one night of a three-night booking, and it was a terrible stay. The room was cramped and poorly kept, with noise from the street, hallway, and adjoining rooms keeping us awake. When we asked the staff to move us, they refused. Expedia contacted the hotel for us, but got no response, and the hotel also denied our refund request. The conditions were disappointing, so I wouldn't recommend this Bombo hotel property in Da Lat, Viet Nam.

The location worked well for us, with an easy walk to the nightmarket. The room was small but clean. The safe in my room was tiny and didn't work.

You're right in central dalat, with restaurants all around and the night market only about a five-minute walk away. Getting around was easy.
