Long made us feel welcome right from the start, even helping with our luggage. He was friendly and helpful throughout. We also loved the big windows in our room, which opened up to a stunning panoramic view across the valley. My daughter’s favorite spot was the front garden, with its old wooden swing. She could run around and play with her bubble toy in a safe, welcoming place. The hotel is on a street with easy breakfast options nearby, which made mornings simple. Our stay felt like being at home. It’s a cozy place with lovely views and a friendly atmosphere, and I’d happily come back to this spot in Da Lat.

I had no complaints about anything else, but the price left me feeling like I was being scammed or bullied. One night cost more than three times the average homestay rate I found on Google, and it was also higher than similar or better places.

I booked two nights through Traveloka, but when we arrived, they said there’d be an extra charge for my child, nearly 60% of the room price. I turned it down, and they wouldn’t refund the booking fee for the two nights. I don’t recommend it.

The grounds felt cozy, with greenery, a pond, and spots to sit in either sun or shade. The view was beautiful, and we had a great stay. Mr Long was a wonderful host, and the rest of the staff were kind and very helpful.

The house is lovely and comfortable, and Long was very nice, recommending some places for us to visit. It is a little far away, though getting around is convenient if you rent a motorbike.
