Dalat Prince Hotel

The room had weak water pressure, and the doorbell was broken. For what I expect from a 4 stars hotel, that wasn't good. The breakfast buffet came with the booking, but honestly wasn't very good for the price. The bigger problem was that we booked a room with a balcony, then were downgraded without warning. They refused to refund the difference, even though we'd called ahead to confirm our booking. I've never had this happen before, and I 100% don't recommend the place. The staff don't understand English, so if you don't know Vietnamese, you might want to find somewhere else. I wouldn't recommend it to my friends.

The staff at Dalat Prince Hotel were friendly, smiling, and eager to help. I think the place has potential, and a more natural atmosphere could improve the guest experience. We booked a two-room suite, but the air freshener smell hit us right away. It was overpowering throughout the lobby and hallways and even reached the rooms. Breathing felt difficult, my throat was irritated, and we kept wanting to get outside for fresh air. We checked three rooms, but the persistent smell made staying impossible, so we moved to another hotel. I rarely leave a negative review, but hope the management takes this feedback seriously.

Conveniently on the main road, close enough to the center and handy for getting to attractions. The hotel was clean, service was good, and the staff friendly. My one exception is breakfast: the dishes were quite cold and, in my opinion, not delicious. I still recommend the hotel.

The hotel is in a great spot, and the area isn’t crowded. For the price, the room was spacious and nice. The towels were unfortunately very old.
