The rooms were clean and comfortable, and Phat was incredibly kind. One evening, he invited us to join his friends downstairs. We played cards and laughed together; he called us his VIP guests and said he’d been waiting for us to arrive. When we lost a phone and wallet, Phat went out of his way to help. He contacted places we’d visited that day, took us to the police station, and called nearby departments. We’re so grateful for his kindness and hope to come back someday.

We only stayed one night, but had a lovely time. The staff were super friendly, and we didn’t run into any of the problems mentioned in some other reviews. There was a fan in the room, which was fine since the room was cool and so was the climate in dalat. The bathroom and shower were huge, and the bed was comfy.

Don’t be fooled by the online photos, which show only certain parts of the room. The toilet and room were dirty, and the condition didn’t feel liveable. Avoid this hotel at all cost. You have been warned!

We arrived to find that our booking wasn’t what they gave us. We’d reserved a double bed, but got a horrible room with two little beds covered in spider webs and insects. They said the room we’d booked had been given to someone else before check-in and asked us to cancel. The people at the hotel didn’t know English, so we couldn’t communicate with them. They told us that room was what “foreigners” get. I urge you not to go near that “hotel”.
