The staff were helpful when we decided to leave, letting us check out promptly without a charge. That was the one good part of the stay. We arrived after a long night bus ride, and I went to nap. A few hours later I woke up coughing badly and checked the room. There was mould on the pillows, and I could smell it in the mattresses. I know DaLat is very humid, but the amount of mould was hard to excuse. Staying there felt like a health risk, so we checked out only two hours after checking in. The place also felt really unhygienic. Don't be misled by the tik tok videos that make it look luxurious.

Getting around was easy since the house is near the gas station, market, and city center. There’s a shared washing machine, and guests can use the kitchen and dishes for free. The rooms are part of the owner's home, so the entrance and stairs are shared. The owner lives there with a young child, and you can hear children in the house. There’s one bathroom shared per floor. The room doors have bars above them for ventilation, so sound carries and the rooms aren't soundproof.

The owners were always friendly and enthusiastic, whether we came as a family or just the two of us. The room was clean, and I’ll definitely visit them again when I’m back in Da Lat.
