It looks like a compact building from outside, and the entrance is through a small cafe. Inside, the apartment was pretty good for the price, with a nice cooking area and washroom. The location is the real draw: Ben Thanh market is a two-minute walk, and Saigon Centre is five minutes away.

We stayed at some great places in Vietnam, but this was one of the best. It was clean, spacious, and affordable. Having a microwave and kitchenette was a big plus.
8/10
We stayed for a whole week over New Year’s Eve, and for backpacker money in District 1, this apartment was a real find. You can walk to everything, and the location is hard to beat. The room has a lot of potential, but even after housekeeping it wasn’t quite clean enough. The bed felt like a plank, the air conditioning could be stronger, and street noise got pretty loud, so bring earplugs. Still, for the price and location, I’d give it a thumbs up. Just expect to do a bit of cleaning yourself and live with the city noise.

The room was new and very clean, and restaurants, bars, and other attractions are only a few steps away. Had a great stay.
