Full Moon Da Lat Hotel

Update 2014: The place had changed and seemed to have gone down a level. The famous vegetarian buffet had been replaced by a cheap fried chicken place serving food over the counter. 2019/2020: I stayed almost a week. It’s a simple, central, clean place with a fridge, kettle, breakfast, laundry, and booking service. The only thing that bothered me was the internet cutting out often. The manager and the “boys” don’t speak English, but everyone was helpful with everything. I’d also recommend the fantastic vegetarian lunch buffet, served daily at the partner hotel at 92 Hai Ba Trung, for an astonishingly low price.

The rooms are small, and the shower is in the restroom. Breakfast was nice, though. Staff were very friendly and helpful, and the hotel is in the middle of the city, with plenty of restaurants, cafes, bars, shops, karaoke, and more nearby.

The construction site opposite worked all day and late into the night, making it impossible to fall asleep. The room was small and dirty, the sheets hadn’t been changed, and there were ants on the bed. I don’t recommend it at all.

It was a cold climate, but the staff were friendly. There was no soap in the toilet, yet we got twelve (!) toothbrushes instead! :) Breakfast was simple but enough for us.
