Okay.

The room was grimy, with a thick coat of dust and hair and bits of debris on the wardrobe and bedside table. The humidity was so bad that nothing would dry, and there was no ventilation. At 10 pm a man knocked to ask whether I had the key card, for reasons I still don’t understand. Later, loud guests shouted and went into other rooms while reception did nothing. The reception staff were cold and unfriendly, and seemed to lack basic hotel sense. They didn’t even check our reservation on their computer. They also tried to charge us a second time, even though we’d paid through the Trip app. I rarely come across a hotel this bad. I’d simply avoid it. You can find better places for similar prices in more convenient locations.

It was handy for me as a Catholic to have a church nearby for mass. We also liked the view over the city from the balcony at night, and the room was roomy and clean. My wife and daughter really enjoyed the hotel. For Tet, the price seemed fair for this range. I’d compared quite a few places before choosing it.

The parking was really convenient, and the room was clean and near the night market. I left something behind, and the lovely receptionist sent it back to my room. I had a very good stay and will definitely return. The hotel has new owners now, and both the service and room decor are much improved from before. Many thanks to the receptionist!
