Happy Dream House

A chill, cozy home.

The house is okay apart from a few problems. The water pressure varies by room, and the water stayed cold even after running for a long time. It also looked yellowish. I told the owner, but they didn’t come to help. When I was due to move out, they asked me for some coffee money, but nothing came of it. The house is a bit old. I’d rented the whole house nearby recently, and I was told this place has a new owner now, everyone.

Really bad experience. I paid in advance for two nights in two single rooms with private toilets, three days before arrival. When I got there, they said the rooms were unavailable because of an app problem. They moved me to an attic room with a shared toilet and raised the price from 400k to 500k per room. Since I’d already arrived and didn’t know where else to go, I accepted. Only after staying there did I realize this seemed like a trick to get more money from guests.

The backyard garden was especially nice, and the rooms were clean with great hot water. We stayed as a family on July 31st, 2024, and the owner was really friendly and enthusiastic. It was very cheap compared with other homestays I’ve tried, and it’s close to the city center. If you’re coming to Da Lat and need a good homestay, I don’t think you’ll be disappointed.
