Interstella Hotel

We came for four days and three nights, but the room had a bad smell and lots of mold on the walls from the moment we walked in. When we complained at the front desk, they told us to deal with it. Then we were woken around 1 a.m. by drunk guests nearby singing and yelling. We let it go, but at 4 a.m. more people were walking around the floor shouting at each other. The receptionist’s response was that people were leaving, so we should bear with it. I know it’s a three-star hotel and didn’t expect much, but paying guests deserve basic respect and reception staff should use some common sense. If you’re looking for poor service and a sleepless stay because of noisy neighbors, this is the place.

We were pleased with our two-night stay and were moved to a larger room. The rooms were new and clean, and the hotel staff were kind and pleasant. Breakfast tasted good, though there wasn’t much variety, probably because it wasn’t the season. Recommended.

We had a comfortable, roomy stay, with a room larger than many three- or four-star hotels in Dalat, and breakfast was good. The staff were friendly and supportive, and the guards helped with our luggage and parking. There’s a lot to eat nearby, including Cơm niêu Nhật Ly, Củi pizza, and Hongkong hotpot, plus beer clubs. It’s also easy to get to local landmarks. The one drawback is the small parking area, with space for only five or six cars. Some cars blocked the entrance, so we couldn’t drive out in the evening, though the guards were very helpful and dinner spots are an easy walk away.

The hotel is new and about 850m from Dalat night market. Our group didn’t have enough food at breakfast, and the breakfast itself wasn’t very good. Staff were friendly and could speak some English. Breakfast is served on the 7th floor, which has a great view of Dalat city.
