Le Recit Boutique Hotel de Dalat

The location made it really easy to get around, since Le Récit is close to the city center. My room was very clean, and housekeeping kept it tidy. The facilities were clean and comfortable too. Breakfast was decent, if nothing special. The staff were lovely and helpful, even after I’d checked out, which I really appreciated. And a special mention to the four-legged staff member, so welcoming and a big part of what made the stay nicer. I loved everything about Le Récit and will definitely come back. If you’re choosing a place, stay here!

We spent five days there, and the rooms were cozy, comfortable, and spotless. The staff were warm and charming, always ready to help. Each evening I worked in the lobby, and they’d bring me bottles of water without me having to ask. We arrived at night, so we couldn’t really see how beautiful the hotel was at first. The first room had a big window, but a wall just two meters away completely blocked the view. The next day they moved us to a different room, which was bright, spacious, and airy. I highly recommend the hotel.

The staff were a real highlight, always friendly and ready to help whenever I needed anything. The place felt pleasant, and everything was clean and comfortable. I had a very good stay and would definitely come back.

The building seems well made, but the way the hotel is run doesn’t meet that standard. The staff and service made for a poor stay, and the place felt badly managed, without clear service or quality standards. They were rude, hung up during a phone conversation, and didn’t speak English, so I wouldn’t recommend it to foreigners. I asked for heaters and was given a broken one, with no replacement available. I also requested water and was charged for it at checkout, the first time I’ve paid for water at a “4 star hotel.” I’d booked the king suite for over 2.5m, which in hindsight was terrible value for Da Lat. I regret choosing this hotel.
