LiLac Hotel Dalat

The bathroom was already dirty when we arrived. We asked the front desk to clean the toilet, but they only sprayed water on the poop stains and left the seat wet, so I had to wipe it with Lysol. There was mold in the shower, and I couldn’t bring myself to use it. My boyfriend did, but the water pressure kept changing. The restroom also leaked and left the floor wet. Staff made excuses, saying housekeeping had probably missed the room, instead of taking responsibility. My cousin’s bathroom had piss stains around the toilet seat too, so the cleaning clearly wasn’t thorough. The mattress was soft, but the comforter smelled. I had a room with a balcony and king bed. The front desk said it was the same size as my cousin’s room, but mine was significantly smaller. The balcony looked out onto someone’s roof and an alleyway, with no real view. Breakfast was included, though the selection was small. Our building had no elevator, so we had to carry luggage up the stairs. The stairs were short, but it was still inconvenient. For what you pay, you can find a better hotel. The staff were nice, but the problems outweighed that, and I wouldn’t return or recommend it. I booked after seeing reviews and a TikTok video, but don’t listen to them. They also forgot to give my cousin her ID back. Don’t let them keep your ID or passport.

We had a wonderful stay. The area was peaceful and relaxing, the staff were delightful and always around, and they took care of every request. Our room was spacious and spotless, with a really cute balcony. 100% recommend.

Checked in at Lilac Hotel Dalat today and spotted the Mai Anh Dao flower outside my room’s window. It’s quite nice here, and a new experience for me! I’m feeling better now. Hope I find someone to share what’s on my mind 💑 Thanks so much, Lilac Hotel Dalat :)
