There was no staff around to help, and the owner spoke to me as if shouting, without admitting any fault. Their attitude was terrible. I paid a 4 million VND deposit, but the room I arrived to was different from the pictures, and I didn’t get the deposit back. The place itself was awful: run-down, full of trash, damp and moldy, with a bad smell and no regular cleaning. The toilet was old and smelly too, and didn’t look like the photos. It was a really bad experience and a waste of money. I’d tell people to avoid it.

I wouldn’t have felt comfortable staying there. The house is old and run-down, and when I saw the room, it smelled bad and felt damp, moldy, and sticky. It also looked nothing like the pictures. Don’t stay there, it’s a waste of money.

I was extremely annoyed during my stay. The room wasn’t changed for 3 days, and what I got didn’t match the booking photos. The staff were very rude to guests. Check everything in the room carefully when you arrive and get the owner to confirm it. Otherwise, if you later complain about a dirty towel or something else, they may demand extra money. Be careful.

The place is peaceful and quiet, and it’s easy to get around on foot. Xuan Huong Lake, Crazy House, Bao Dai III Palace, and the night market are all nearby. The rooms are cute and clean, though a little small, so they suit couples. Prices are reasonable for students. Staff were enthusiastic and helpful with booking advice and luggage storage.
