Pine Tree Homestay

Beautiful place, really good.

We paid 800k VND a night for a private-bathroom room, and the owners were friendly. I booked for six people on March 9th, but they gave us an eight-person room with extra beds, which was more comfortable. It was clean, fresh, and had no smell. The electric water heater warmed up quickly, though the sink had no hot water. The weather was still incredibly cold even after Tet. The places charging admission and drink fees weren't anything special, and they were crowded, cramped, and expensive, which spoiled the fun. I did find a cactus shop that was quite beautiful and reasonably priced. To reach the homestay, drive down the hill and keep left as you approach the intersection; cars can get there.

The location is very quiet. I had booked the wrong date by mistake, but the owners were helpful and still found a way to accommodate me.

They rent motorbikes, and it's about a 10-minute ride from the city center. The owners are such friendly, lovely people. There's a cute cafe next door with vintage decor that's great for photos. Since I had a small baby with me, they kindly gave me extra fruit and would come out to chat with the baby whenever I left. It was so much fun.
