Sandals Camellia Hotel

I come here for the great coffee and comfy chairs. It would be much nicer if employees didn't light cigarettes right outside the coffee shop door, since the smell of smoke gets into the whole place.

The coffee is great, and it's pleasant to sit and watch the markets in action. Staff are always friendly and accommodating.

The location was good, and the second night was quieter. Our room was close to the lift and numbered 101, so I'd ask to change rooms if you get this one. We could hear reception at 3 am and all the comings and goings. The hotel was noisy, though much of it seemed to come from other guests. And Christmas music in the lobby at 6 am? Why? Breakfast was hard to describe. We arrived around 9, when most of the buffet was already gone. We were alone in the restaurant, but staff didn't refill it. The food was cold, and the coffee was no good. We complained about the noise and were offered another room, but with only our second and final night left, we didn't want the bother. Cleaning wasn't good either. They made the bed and changed the towels, but the sand and mud from the rain were still all over the floor afterward.

The staff and service were very rude (as pictured). After seeing similar reviews, I get the impression this place simply doesn’t offer customer service.
