Savio Villa Dalat

I ended up in a dark basement room with windows that wouldn't shut, and I couldn't sleep there. It felt gloomy and spooky, like someone was outside. I moved upstairs the next day. The staff were very nice, though.

The bed linens and mattress could be cleaner, there were a few black stains, so I hope the home improves that. The lane leading to the house gets jammed or crowded with cars, and it’s rough and stony, which makes walking difficult in the rain. On the good side, the room looked just like the photos, with a glass door facing a peaceful forest. Fog clings to the glass in the morning, and the view is lovely in the rain too. Staff are always around and eager to help. I asked for a night light at midnight, and they brought it right to my room. Drinking water is readily available, and the online TV has YouTube. There’s always hot water for showers. Warm yellow lights throughout the home make it feel cozy, like being at home.

The villa felt pretty much like a hotel, and there wasn't a mountain view. For what the room cost, I expected more. The atmosphere wasn't great either. I gave it a try, but I doubt I'll return. 6/10.

The view from the balcony is lovely, and it's a nice spot to sit with a drink. The staff were enthusiastic, the room was clean, and the price felt fair. The curtains are fabric rather than roller blinds, though, so the room gets very bright and a bit warm, which makes daytime sleep difficult.
