For families with kids, there are a couple of drawbacks: no baby chairs in the restaurant, and the hotel is fairly far from the center, so you’ll need a taxi or a rented motorbike. On our first morning, there were only a few guests, so there wasn’t a buffet, just three breakfast options. On the plus side, the pool is warm, the room is well equipped, and the staff are helpful.

The rooms were decent, but the place felt dated and needed better care. I’d been looking forward to a couple of days relaxing by the pool after seeing the online pictures, especially the pool, but it wasn’t well maintained and didn’t meet expectations. The breakfast buffet was below average too. For the price, I didn’t feel I got good value, and the advertising felt misleading. Based on my stay, I wouldn’t recommend it.

Getting around was easy enough: the centre is about a 30-minute walk, or 17,000 dong by Grab motorcycle and 40,000 dong by Grab car. The staff were wonderful throughout our stay. They helped my son sort out a problem paying for a Grab and also booked us a long-distance bus trip. Our room was clean, with firm, really comfortable beds, and the Vietnamese-style buffet had plenty of vegetables and salad alongside pho, eggs, toast, fruit, tofu, and other dishes. We had a great stay from beginning to end.

The staff were friendly and sweet, but the room really needs cleaning and repairs. The floor was sticky and very dirty, the fridge was broken, the wall stained, and the bathtub dirty. We arrived on our first day to find no toilet paper. We booked the corner suite double with a balcony, but the room view didn't match what was advertised, which was disappointing. There was no luggage service either. I won't come back.
