The location is perfect, just a short walk from the lake and some main sites. The receptionist was lovely, looked after our bags when we arrived early and left, and helped us during the stay. We were given a supposedly complimentary upgrade, but that room didn’t come close to the photos of what we’d booked. You do get what you pay for, I guess, but a better clean and getting rid of the dodgy bath/shoe mat would make it more comfortable.

The room was disgusting and really loud, so there was no peace and quiet. The bed felt like a brick, and it wasn’t clean. I wouldn’t stay here.

We left after one night, even though we were meant to stay three. Our room had lots of black mould, was filthy and dusty, and was infested with ants. We were exhausted the first evening and didn’t complain, but ants crawling over me woke me in the night. After checking out at 10am and explaining the problems, we were given a refund for only one night, which felt poor. The receptionist was lovely, understanding, and upset about it, but that doesn’t change that the room shouldn’t have been rented out. We knew it was a budget hotel and weren’t expecting anything fancy, just somewhere clean and tidy. I don’t know how it has so many good reviews.

Simple, affordable rooms make this a good choice if you’re after a fun stay in a convenient spot. It’s not the place for a more up-market resort. The service was friendly, laundry was cheap, and the staff gave good recommendations for delicious restaurants. It’s well located near the night market, restaurants, and bars. Thank you very much ♥️♥️

The smell was awful, coming from the toilet drain, and brown water came out of the taps. There were bedbugs, stains on the sheets and towels, and the rooms were very unclean. The service was horrible too. Even if you’re looking for a cheap place to sleep, I really, really recommend avoiding it.
