The room was super comfortable and cozy, a bit like staying in the Hobbit house in LOTR, which made for an amazing experience. It had the basics I needed for a pleasant night, including a nice bed. Clean room and good location, too.

For 300,000 VND, I got a cozy bungalow with a fantastic view at HB Bungalow Dalat. The value for a private bungalow is hard to beat, and the clever shelves made good use of the small space. The owner was super friendly and helpful, and the peaceful surroundings were great for relaxing. The pagoda next door is beautiful, and the BBQ place up the hill is a must-try, though getting there means a bit of a climb. There are some things to plan for: you'll need to go elsewhere to shower, since there's only a toilet and sink. The bungalow sits up a steep incline, so pack light and expect a little workout. Staff often aren't on-site, so you'll need to be comfortable handling things independently. It can also get hot inside during the day, though the fan helps. Still, for budget travelers who value a unique place to stay, it's a good option if you're prepared for those limitations.

The location is a long way from Da Lat, though it's close to one of the bus stations and the cable car. Taxis and tours often have trouble finding the place. The rooms are small, as we expected, but really charming. We loved the concept. It was a very cool place to stay!

The room felt cozy and had a lovely view. The toilet and shower area was a little small, though. The owners were kind and friendly, and helped us rent good motorbikes.

The rooms are nice, with a good view of the alley. I did have an issue renting a bike before 6 PM: they didn't mention that I'd be charged for a full day.
