The hotel itself is beautiful, the location is great, the service is excellent, and breakfast was good. But a few things kept this from being a five-star review. There weren’t enough outlets, so we had to unplug other appliances for our phones and computer, and even charged the iPad in the bathroom. The beds were uncomfortable too. The large bed was just two mattresses pushed together, and sleeping in the middle left me waking up in pain both nights. The street could be a little noisy, though that was minor. The shower was finicky as well. Using the handheld head instead of the rain shower meant water sprayed out of the tub and all over the floor.

The location is really good value, and everything else about the stay was great. The room had a lovely vintage feel, and the staff were kind and helpful. Just keep in mind that breakfast is downstairs in the basement, with stair access only, which was a small downside.

My afternoon check-in at Duparc Hotel was quick and easy, and the receptionist welcomed me so warmly. The front desk team were friendly and helpful throughout, which gave my stay a lovely start.

Phuong at reception was especially helpful when we were choosing a room, and the security guard was attentive too. Breakfast was adequate. The hotel is well placed, an easy walk to the night market and a short taxi ride from the cable car, crazy house, and flower garden. Nice place, and worth a visit.
