The owner and the dogs are really sweet. Whenever we came back, the lovely lady would wave to us with a big smile, which made us so happy. The room was good and clean, and so was the bathroom, which we shared with just one other room.
You get what you pay for. There are lots of restaurants and cafes nearby. Taxis won't go down the side street where it is, but it's less than a minute's walk, so no problem. The lady who owns it is incredibly lovely and friendly, and she has two super cute, friendly dogs.
The owner was so friendly and helpful, and the quiet neighborhood is still close enough to the center. After five years of budget travel, this is the best value I've found anywhere. Everything felt new and really high quality. I was so surprised at check-in that I even had to confirm the price with the owner.
You get so much for what you pay here. It's a lovely place, with simple, clean rooms in a quiet spot near the center, and the family are helpful.
The beds were great, and the shower was even better. There was also a really sweet lady who didn't speak English, but managed to communicate just fine!
