Bac Nam Central Station Hotel

WORST HOTEL IN VIETNAM!!!! If you're not Vietnamese, save your money and give it to another hotel that deserves it. The staff were very rude and made fun of you all the time. We booked 2 days and wanted to add more, but they wouldn't rent us a motorbike, even though they had said yes before we booked for 150000d. When we asked about laundry, they said they'd charge 15000d for each clothing set????? We booked a king bed room but were given 2 beds instead. They told us to wait until lunch time for our room, but it never happened. The toilets were clogged and dirty, and the hygiene kits were open and used. After 3 weeks in Vietnam, this was the only place where we felt unwelcome. It's okay, we found a better place to stay :) peace!

Just a minute or two on foot from the bus station, so it worked really well for us after a hellish bus ride. The staff were sweet and helpful, and the room was nice. The floor was wet all over for some reason. There’s a lift too.

We got there around 2 AM after our bus arrived much earlier than expected, and they had a room even though we only knocked to ask. It was clean and neat, and the price was cheap. The host gave us free snacks when we checked out early because it was Tet and he said the shops would be closed. Really friendly service.

The laundry service was good, and the worker was helpful. The rooms themselves are very basic, which was fair for the cheap price. There wasn’t enough toilet paper, though, and the air conditioner smelled musty whenever it ran. My guess is it hadn’t been cleaned. It stayed set at 25 degrees, so in cooler weather opening the windows might be better, but there’s no fan.
