During Tet, we arrived with a reservation and found the hotel had overbooked. The receptionist told us to contact the manager, then disappeared. We couldn't get hold of him, and nobody came back to the desk for around two hours while we tried to find another hotel. Two other people had the same problem during that time, and one of them had already paid.

I wouldn't stay here again. The rooms were dirty, damp, moldy, and smelled bad, with a constant cigarette odor in the washroom. For the quality, the hotel is overpriced, and Da Nang has much better, cheaper options. The manager, a young Vietnamese man, and the older cleaning lady were both rude. She never smiled and seemed out of it. I'm convinced the cleaner took my wife's temporary wedding ring, worth about $40. She cleaned our room while we were out at lunch. The ring had been on a stand above the bed, and we first thought it might have fallen into the sheets or under the bed. We searched everywhere and never found it. I'd also read other reviews accusing her of taking guests' belongings. My friends had a confirmed booking through booking.com for Tet, made around January 2026. Less than two weeks before arrival, the young Vietnamese manager or owner told them he couldn't honor the room at that price and asked for about three times as much, claiming it was because of Tet. I can understand a double rate, but tripling it felt greedy and shameless. I hope the police investigate this hotel and that the owner and cleaner face consequences. If I could give zero stars, I would. Avoid it.

The rooms have been upgraded, and the service pleased me when I came back for a second stay. It seems the hotel may have changed ownership. I also found the rates remarkably low for the market, especially considering how good the service was.

Avoid this place. I booked through Agoda, but nobody was there when I arrived. The manager told me by phone they'd given my room to someone else and said I should find another place. There wasn't even an apology. This happened during Tet, when every hotel in the area was full.

For a budget traveler like me, this place is perfectly adequate for sleeping. The facilities are still in good shape, and the prices are incredibly low compared with the usual standard.
