I was turned away at the entrance even though I’d paid $20 USD for a reservation. The owner was rude and gave no explanation. Now I’m basically stranded. I’ll be filing a chargeback, and I’d say don’t book here at all, especially with a bank card.

We arrived with our bags after paying for a room in advance, only to be told by the owner that the place was full. He didn’t apologize, and we were left without a hotel. It felt really disrespectful.

We only booked one night, and the place was very clean. The hosts were warm and hospitable. I just wish it cost a little less, since it’s a bit farther from the Old Town.

They wouldn’t honor my paid, confirmed Agoda booking. I offered to make a separate booking, but they didn’t accept credit cards. It almost seems like they don’t want to fill the rooms.

It has that real homestay feel, and the humble family running it were lovely and attentive, almost like parents making sure you have what you need. I booked two nights and stayed five. Breakfast is included and delicious, with a few choices to pick from the night before. The bicycles are included too, which made it easy to explore the city and ride out to the beach. The quiet setting was perfect.
