The rooms are spacious and modern, and the river-facing view is very nice. The hotel is also pleasant overall, but it’s quite far from the city, and Grab drivers often miss the entrance, so I wouldn’t choose it for the location. It looks clean at first, though there were spider webs and dust on the ceilings and in the corners. The staff are nice, but not always helpful. They said the grocery shop would be open at certain times, yet didn’t stick to the schedule. Since the hotel is so remote, you may count on that shop and find it has closed one or two hours early. I’d only stay here again if I needed to be in this particular area.

The grounds are looked after, the views are beautiful, the food tastes good, and the rooms and beds are nice. The amenities are good, too. Staff were kind and spoke English, though the night shift guy made promises he didn’t keep. Housekeeping didn’t do a good job cleaning or replacing supplies. There were ants in the room, so we asked for bug spray to handle them ourselves. The rooms were moldy, and the AC smelled of mold and bacteria. It would switch off at random, then blow hot air even when it was 100 °F outside. The towel policy felt unfair. We used a washcloth to clean up because housekeeping hadn’t restocked tissues, and were then told we had to pay for each washcloth, even though I offered to remove the stains. They said the cloths couldn’t be replaced. That surprised me, since the bed linens were stained when we arrived, so clearly stained linens do get used. See the photos and screenshots below. When we were upset, the night shift guy said what he thought would calm us down but didn’t follow through. The hotel rents its outdoor area to locals for karaoke and parties, and the noise carries into rooms that aren’t soundproofed. There were two parties during our week there, and resting before about 10 p.m. was out of the question.

The rooms were modern, immaculate, and well equipped, with a really nice kitchen. We also made good use of the pool and gym. The staff were consistently professional, attentive, and cheerful. Cami Riverside Resort has a peaceful, refined feel, yet it’s still close to the town center. We had a wonderful stay. ☺️😌

It’s a little out of the way, but we were on a motorbike and loved the quiet. Anyone after some relaxation and a bit of luxury would feel at home here. We’d gladly return. For a small price, our overnight stay in room 301 included breakfast and a lot: a quiet, spacious room with air conditioning, a very comfortable bed, a big shower, and a balcony. There was also a large pool, a buffet breakfast, and a restaurant with delicious food, which we paid for separately. The two Fujitsu massage chairs in reception would almost have made the price worthwhile on their own.

The resort was very quiet and peaceful, tucked at the riverside end of an odd development. Several blocks of half-built or abandoned buildings made the setting feel almost like a film set. We were there at the end of May, and the WhatsApp hotline was a lifesaver: they replied quickly in good English when we were lost or hungry and irritable. Our junior suite was clean and roomy, with a super-comfortable bed and a bathroom that was great for a long shower after biking. Breakfast was good, and the staff were very nice. The room was fine, but the booking photos oversold it, especially the mountain views. We also shared the day with a school-bus-sized crowd of kids, and the hallways became a relay track that evening. Piano music from the lobby around 6-7 a.m. carried up to our second-floor suite. Nice if you’re an early Rachmaninoff fan, less so otherwise. On Sunday there was a fire-alarm drill at 08:00, and cleaning knocked cheerfully at our door at 8:30 a.m. on the first day. Then on Sunday afternoon, Vietnamese ballads played over the outdoor speakers for hours. The songs were lovely, but the volume felt like a concert we hadn’t signed up for. For the ride in, don’t trust Google Maps on the last stretch. It may send you through closed gates and blocked roads. Follow the Cami signs and use the middle gate to reach the riverside. Riding through the empty development feels a bit like scouting a low-budget zombie film, but getting to the river makes it worthwhile. It felt more like a company conference retreat that had invited children as guest speakers. If you’re after a romantic weekend, swipe left. Kids make the world happier, just maybe not during our attempt at romance. We had a good stay overall, but won’t return.
