Cocoon Villa

The room had everything I needed and was clean and comfortable, and breakfast was genuinely tasty. It’s a little away from the busy center, which made things quieter and more relaxing. A pleasant stay with a nice balance of convenience and peace.

The staff were polite, helpful, and good-natured, and I really liked the service and hospitality. A couple of small things could be improved, like fitting the shower properly and installing the electric kettle better, but they were minor issues. The hotel feels peaceful, with a nice ambiance. The backyard coconut area, with trees growing in the water and out in open fields, gives it a natural Vietnamese feel. The location is especially good if you like cycling or riding a motorbike. Popular places like the Ancient Market and riverside bars are around 5 km away, a pleasant ride. A calm place to stay, and highly recommended for a relaxed visit.

The location worked so well for us: a supermarket and restaurants were about a 10-minute walk away, and the beach took around 20 minutes on foot. We stayed nearly a month with two adults and two children under four, and loved how peaceful the resort felt. The pool was lovely, breakfast had plenty of good choices, and the staff made sure we were comfortable. They brought us a large fridge and kept a big water tank filled, which was really handy. They also replied quickly to messages on Booking. We couldn't have been happier.

We liked the garden atmosphere so much that we extended our stay. There were birds and butterflies around, and they even added bird feeders in the trees and three large umbrellas by the pool while we were there. The pool was clean, a good size, and had a jacuzzi seating area. The rooms were comfortable, with a nice balcony and a good bed and pillows. Breakfast was a real highlight, with fresh orange juice, coffee, pancakes, omelette, fruit, avocado salad, and plenty more, served in a lovely indoor-outdoor garden space overlooking the clear pool. There are well-kept bicycles available, and cycling made it easy to get to the beach, rice fields, and even Hoi A town. The beach is a little farther away, but it's easy to walk or cycle, and Grab was cheap and efficient too. Staff were great, and the surroundings were welcoming, with beautiful plants. We loved staying at Cocoon and would come back if we return to Vietnam.
