Crowne Plaza Danang by IHG

The hotel was spotlessly clean and breakfast was lovely. It’s in a quiet spot, though you’ll need a taxi to reach tourist places and Son Tra Market. We did walk to Marble Mountain from the hotel. We weren’t lucky enough to get an ocean view room, but maybe we’ll return and ask for one. All the staff were courteous, friendly, professional, approachable, caring, and compassionate, and were beautifully dressed. Thank you, Crowne Plaza, and everyone who works here. You were lovely. The hallways and room felt creepy and old. The corridors were dark, and I kept feeling like someone was watching. I also heard a soft voice on both our first and second days, which made my hair stand on end. The room fridge barely cooled our bottled water, but they wanted 100,000 viet dong for a bucket of ice. When my son got sick on day two and couldn’t go to the buffet, we asked for a cup of soup and a piece of bread, but the manager wouldn’t allow it. Unexpected situations like that should be flexible. I booked despite the secluded location because of the kids’ water slide, but it wasn’t working. The crowd was bad too. The pillows are going flat and need more stuffing, you’d need three to get a comfortable height. I’m not coming back and wouldn’t recommend it.

We loved relaxing by the sea and watching the waves, and the infinity pool was beautiful. Breakfast was amazing, with lots of different choices, and we also tried the resort’s Korean restaurant, which was very good. Our balcony had a lovely view and lounge chairs, and I was glad there was an iron and ironing board. The room was clean and spacious without feeling too big. It’s a very nice, large hotel and resort, and the staff were courteous and friendly.

The atmosphere was calm and relaxing, and the staff were so kind and helpful that we felt welcome throughout. Our room was clean, comfortable, and beautifully cared for. I had a wonderful stay and would love to come back.
