D&C Hotel Danang

I was afraid to sleep after spotting a large cockroach in the bathtub. There were also insects and a lizard in the room, which was awful. The shower looked like it had never been cleaned, and the room was extremely dirty. It smelled bad too, with very old furniture and poor linens, plus lumpy pillows. The room was very dark in the evening, with dim bulbs, as if they’d skimped on everything. The hotel itself is very old, and the AC didn’t work anywhere. The lobby, hallways, and elevator were incredibly stuffy. The worst hotel I’ve stayed at in Da Nang.

There are plenty of cafes and shops nearby, and it’s a 2-minute walk to the embankment, then 5-10 minutes to Dragon Bridge. I liked the hotel: quiet, calm, and clean.

Being close to Dragon Bridge is a big plus. The room didn’t live up to our expectations, though. We found ants, noticed an unpleasant smell, and the cleanliness overall was lacking. It felt a little more budget than advertised.

The best things about this budget hotel were the location and the young lady at the front desk. I stayed five days out of seven. The room and bathroom were clean, though dated, and there was no mold smell or bugs. They didn’t have extra pillows, and the internet wasn’t strong or consistent enough for work. There were no blackout curtains either.
