I stayed for two months and really recommend the place. The family were lovely, friendly, and very helpful. I had a comfortable bed, free bicycles, and tasty breakfast every day at a good price, with organic eggs straight from the property and fresh fruit. There's a cute little dog, rice paddies are very close, and it's only about a 10-minute ride to the beach and 15 minutes to Old town.

We came away with warm memories and the feeling that we'd been treated like family. Our heartfelt thanks to the owners of Do River for the care, sincerity, and simplicity throughout our stay. The Chung family always greeted us with a smile and were ready to help or offer advice. Breakfast wasn't included, but my husband and I paid extra to have it every day, and it was amazing, truly worthy of praise. We had free bicycles, which made exploring easy. The old town is about 15 minutes away and the beach about 10, so cycling is well worth it. Our room was cozy, had everything we needed, and was cleaned daily. Chung made us feel at home even through heavy rainstorms, bringing hot tea to our room after we came back soaked. The warmth and hospitality were so welcome, and we'd return in a heartbeat. For a small extra charge, she cooked a lovely breakfast and coffee each morning and served it with care in the covered communal area by the garden. Our upstairs room was clean, comfortable, and met our basic needs, with some clothing storage, a mini fridge, and a TV we didn't use. A small balcony looked out over the rice field, a beautiful natural view. On arrival, we were welcomed with warm tea and an introduction to the homestay, area, and services. Chung, our main host, speaks English well and was kind, responsive, and went out of her way to find us an affordable taxi from Da Nang. We also rented a scooter through the homestay, and bicycles were available. We stayed in mid December.
