This review is about the spa, not the hotel. It was easily the worst massage I’ve had in Da Nang. The room was cramped and noisy from the street, and there was no privacy because the girl kept opening the curtain to talk to her friend. Her idea of a “full body massage” didn’t include the shoulders, quads, or delts. There was no communication, and her attitude was terrible. Walk a minute in any direction and you’ll find a better massage.

I liked this place, and everything was fine. The desk staff helped with my box shipping and gave me advice. There were plenty of places to eat nearby, and Grab taxis were easy to get.

I paid the hotel staff for a month in advance, but later the manager, Bông, said prices had gone up and I had to pay more. I showed her the receipt proving I’d already paid ahead. She shouted at me and demanded more money.

The hotel was under renovation but was still taking guests. Construction woke me up early every day, and the AC barely worked. It took four hours to get cool, and the temperature never went below 25 degrees. I left it on when I went out, but the staff switched it off. The staff couldn’t speak English. Stay away!
